Memorization Course
Master Quran memorization with Quran Mentors’ Hifz-ul-Quran Course. Online classes with certified tutors to help you perfect your recitation and retention.
Quran Mentors offers structured, live one-on-one Hifz classes taught by Ijazah-certified teachers — for students of all ages across the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and UAE.
Memorizing the Quran is one of the highest honors in Islamic tradition. A Hafiz carries a unique distinction in this life and an extraordinary reward in the Hereafter — and it is a journey every Muslim, regardless of age or background, can begin.
Our online Hifz program delivers the same proven system used in traditional Islamic schools — the Sabaq, Sabqi, and Manzil method — through live daily sessions that fit around school, work, and family life in the West.

How Our Hifz Program Works?
Every session in our program follows the same structured method that has produced Huffaz for centuries. This is not optional — it is the foundation of all serious Quran memorization.
- Sabaq (New Lesson) — The new portion memorized in today’s session. Your teacher assigns an amount based on your level — typically 3–10 lines per day for children, 3–5 lines for adults beginning Hifz.
- Sabqi (Recent Revision) — Revision of the last 7–10 days of new memorization. This is the most critical component — new memorization is most vulnerable in the first week. Sabqi prevents forgetting before material moves to long-term memory.
- Manzil (Long-Term Review) — Systematic revision of everything memorized to date, rotated so each portion is reviewed at least once per week.
All three components happen in every single session. Teachers who skip Sabqi and Manzil produce students who forget earlier portions as they advance — a common failure in informal tutoring.
Memorization Levels — From Juz Amma to Complete Hifz
Every student starts with Juz Amma — the 30th chapter containing 37 short Surahs most Muslims already recite in Salah. It is the ideal first goal: achievable, meaningful, and immediately useful in daily worship. Timeline: 6–12 months for children, 6–18 months for adults.
From Juz Amma, students progress backward through the shorter Juz — building toward 10 Juz (2–4 years) and eventually complete 30 Juz Hifz (4–6 years for dedicated children, 7–12 years for working adults). Our teachers guide students through every stage — from the first Sabaq to the final Manzil.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Quran Mentors.
The optimal age to begin structured Hifz is 7–10 years old. At this age, children’s memory is highly plastic and language acquisition is at its peak. That said, Hifz is possible at any age. We have students memorizing the Quran in their 40s and 50s — the journey is longer but equally valid and rewarding.
A student should be able to: read Arabic from the Quran (Mushaf) without spelling out individual letters, pronounce the Arabic letters correctly, and ideally have some existing memorization (even a few Surahs from Juz Amma). Students who cannot yet read Arabic should begin with the Noorani Qaida first.
A minimum of 15–20 minutes of daily revision between classes is essential — more is better. This home practice is what moves new memorization from short-term to long-term memory. Students who only practice during class sessions make slower progress and forget more between sessions.
Yes. We have qualified Ijazah-certified female Hifz teachers available for sisters and girls who prefer a female teacher. The program, system, and certification standard are identical.
We provide weekly written progress reports to parents covering: what new Sabaq was assigned this week, how many lines the child has memorized in total, Sabqi and Manzil quality assessment, and the teacher’s notes on areas needing more home practice.
Yes — but it requires realistic expectations. A working adult with 5 classes per week and 45–60 minutes of daily independent practice can realistically complete Juz Amma in 6–18 months and the full Quran in 7–12 years. The journey is long — but every Juz memorized is a permanent achievement that accompanies you for life.
