Our adult curriculum covers every level — from absolute beginner to advanced. Here is what you can study:
- Noorani Qaida — Start from the Arabic alphabet if you have never read before. The right foundation makes everything else faster and easier. Most adults complete this in 3–6 months.
- Quran Reading with Tajweed — Learn to read the Quran correctly with proper pronunciation rules, letter characteristics, and fluent recitation. The most popular course for adults.
- Hifz (Memorisation) — Memorise selected Surahs or work toward full Quran memorisation at a realistic adult pace. Daily revision cycles built into every week.
- Tafseer — Understand the deep meaning, context, and lessons of every verse. Taught entirely in English. Ideal if you already read but want deeper connection with the Quran.
- Quranic Arabic — Understand the words of the Quran and your Salah directly in Arabic. No prior knowledge needed. Within 3 months most students recognise words in their prayer.
- Islamic Studies — Strengthen your Aqeedah, Fiqh, Seerah, and daily Islamic practice alongside your Quran studies.
Children (Age 4–10)
Young children start with short sessions — 15 to 20 minutes for ages 4–5, building to 30–40 minutes by age 8–10. Teachers use visual aids, repetition, and positive reinforcement. Parents receive a progress report after every session. Children who start young consistently progress faster and retain better.
Teenagers (Age 11–17)
Teens who have never learned formally start with Noorani Qaida and typically progress faster than younger children. Full 45-minute sessions. Many teenage beginners complete Noorani Qaida in 2–3 months and move to Quran reading within the year.
Adults (18+)
Adult beginners are among our most motivated students. There is no age limit and absolutely no judgment about starting late. Many adults in their 30s, 40s, and 50s have started from zero and now read the Quran fluently. Your teacher works at your pace with full patience.
Converts
If you are new to Islam, welcome. Many converts start with Noorani Qaida alongside basic Islamic Studies — learning to read the Quran and understand the fundamentals of the faith together. Your teacher is experienced with converts and will make the process comfortable and meaningful.
Every teacher at Quran Mentors holds Ijazah — the highest scholarly certification in Quranic recitation, with an unbroken chain of transmission back to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
For beginners, we specifically match you with teachers experienced in teaching from absolute zero. Teaching a complete beginner is a different skill — it requires patience, clear explanation, and the ability to build confidence alongside knowledge.
