Classes are live, one-on-one video sessions via Zoom. You and your teacher connect at a pre-scheduled time — you can see and hear each other in real time, exactly like an in-person lesson. Your teacher teaches, demonstrates Tajweed rules, and corrects your recitation live. All you need is a device (phone, tablet, or laptop) and a Zoom account (free). Registration takes 2 minutes. Go to the Registration Page, fill in your name, email, preferred course, level, and teacher gender preference. We contact you within 24 hours to confirm your free trial class time.

Your first 3 classes are completely free — no payment, no credit card, no commitment required. In the trial class: you meet your assigned teacher, the teacher assesses your current level, you receive a real lesson (not just a demo), and the teacher recommends which course and plan is right for you. Yes. Every teacher at QuranMentors holds Ijazah — the highest scholarly certification in Quranic education. An Ijazah is a formal, verified chain of transmission in Quran recitation, traced through an unbroken scholarly chain back to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself.We do not allow volunteers or informally trained teachers on our platform. Every teacher has been tested, verified, and approved.

Ijazah is a certified credential in Islamic scholarship. For Quran recitation, it means the teacher has studied under a certified scholar, demonstrated complete mastery of Quran recitation with proper Tajweed, and received permission to teach. The chain of this certification traces back over 1,400 years, through an unbroken line of scholars, to the Prophet ﷺ.When you learn from an Ijazah-certified teacher, you are connecting to this living tradition.

Yes. We have fully qualified female Quran teachers for sisters and girls at every level — Noorani Qaida, Quran Reading, Tajweed, Hifz, Tafseer, and Arabic. Simply select "Female Teacher Preferred" when registering and we will match you immediately.

Yes. Brothers and boys can request a male teacher. Select your preference during registration.

Yes. If you feel a different teaching style would suit you better, contact us and we will arrange a new teacher. Your progress and schedule will be transferred seamlessly. Our priority is that you learn — not that you stay with any particular teacher.

All classes are conducted in English as the primary medium of instruction. This makes Quran Mentors ideal for Muslim families in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and other English-speaking countries. Urdu-medium teachers are also available on request.

All Quran Mentors teachers have a minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience before joining our platform. Many hold additional credentials in Islamic studies, Arabic grammar, or Tafseer alongside their Quran Ijazah.

Yes. Many students combine courses — for example: Tajweed and Tafseer together, or Hifz and Tajweed together. Your teacher will manage both tracks and progress you systematically through each.

No. Noorani Qaida is the correct starting point for any beginner — child or adult — who has never learned to read Arabic before. Many adult converts and lifelong Muslims who never had formal Quran education start here. There is no age limit and no judgment.

It depends on the frequency of classes, the student's age, and daily revision time. Children (6-14) with daily classes: 3-5 years. Teenagers with regular classes: 4-6 years. Yes. Adult beginners are very welcome — and they are among our most motivated students. There is no age limit and no judgment about starting late. Many adults start with Noorani Qaida and make remarkable progress in a few months.

We accept children from age 4. Children aged 4-5 begin with Arabic letter recognition in short, engaging sessions. Full Noorani Qaida lessons typically begin at age 5-6. There is no upper age limit. See our dedicated kids Quran classes.

Yes. Our teachers who work with young children (4-8) are specially trained for this age group. Lessons are interactive, patient, and appropriately paced. Short sessions (20-30 minutes) are available for very young children. Learn more about Quran classes for kids.

Absolutely. Starting from zero is completely normal. Noorani Qaida begins with the Arabic alphabet — your child does not need to know anything beforehand. Millions of Muslim children worldwide begin exactly the same way.

We recommend a parent be nearby for children aged 4–8 — both for safety and to support the child's revision between classes. For children aged 9 and above, independent attendance is fine.

We serve all major time zones — USA (EST, CST, MST, PST), UK (GMT/BST), Canada, Australia, UAE, and Pakistan. Our teachers work across multiple time zones to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend schedules.

Fully flexible. You choose your time slot during registration. Available slots span:- Early morning (before work/school)- Afternoon (school hours for stay-at-home parents)- Evening (after school/work)- Weekends (Saturday and Sunday)Your time slot is reserved exclusively for you every week — no waiting, no shared slots.

Yes. If you need to reschedule, inform your teacher at least 24 hours in advance. We accommodate reschedules based on teacher availability. We do not charge for reschedules made with adequate notice.

If a teacher misses a scheduled class, we reschedule it at no charge and at your convenience. Consistent, reliable teachers are a core commitment of QuranMentors.

All classes are held on Zoom — the world's most widely used video call platform. Zoom is free to download and works on phones, tablets, and laptops. Your teacher sends you a meeting link before each class. No paid subscription needed. Register to get started.

No. Zoom is free. You do not need to purchase any subscription or software to attend classes.

Classes can be conducted via audio-only if video is unstable. If a class is significantly disrupted by technical issues, it will be rescheduled at no charge.

Class recordings are available on request for revision purposes. Many students find recordings useful for practicing pronunciation between classes. Request this when speaking with your teacher.
